VIDEO DIARY NYC
Let’s start by exploring at videodiarynyc.com, a brief excerpt from the latest blog post. The post is about how you can create your own cable television program and grow your own audience like Yianni did back in the nineties.
Yianni Stamas launched a ten-year art and life experiment in 1991 in the form of a real-life cable TV show before reality television was a genre because he wanted to find out what would happen if he started filming his life and creative process and put it on television for half an hour each week.
One of the discoveries he made regarding the process of growing your own audience was that just having a cable show in and of itself led to automation without his trying to grow his own audience.
Because the show was unique and different, many people found it while channel surfing, especially in the first five years when the satirical and tongue in cheek improvisations were inspired by quasi related real-life events.
Yianni was regularly contacted by viewers consisting of a multitude of different kinds of New Yorkers, including TV producers, comic book artists, and many more.
And maybe one day Yianni will share the story of this unusual decade long journey. But meanwhile, in terms of having a possible tool to grow your own audience, you might want to consider starting a cable TV show like Yianni did. Grow your own audience. How? Maybe by starting your own cable television show in a genre that does not yet exist.
U.S. IN NEED
Now, let’s shift to U.S. in Need in terms of how to grow your own audience using celebrity strategy and tapping into the magic of thought.
Here is a tip to possibly use to grow your own audience that appears in the latest blog post on U.S. in Need as of writing this. What is the tip?
The tip is that you might accidentally have created an opportunity to grow your own audience by becoming a member of someone else’s audience.
How? Well, for example, you could become a customer or donor or fan. If you are drawn to a small business or a nonprofit or the career of an artist entertainer and decide to become a customer or donor or fan, in the process of doing that you are helping them to grow their own audience.
And sometimes with you as a member of their audience, they can end up becoming a member of your audience, especially if they are a like-minded individual.
THE ARTS AND MEDIA
And finally, we are going to explore some excerpts from The Arts and Media. Tap into your own inner resource, which is you. When you are engaged in developing content to grow your own audience, be conscious of the content you are developing and why you are. This is sometimes called mindfulness.
Or as a good friend of Yanni’s puts it, become your own mindful ally. Meaning, you can only be your best possible ally when it comes to the creation process if you tap into your own inner resource, which is you, and grow your own audience with you as a member.
In other words, it is going to be harder to get others to become audience members of your business or nonprofit or artist entertainer career if you are not yourself a fan.
And now we leave you with an insight to share from the artist and media community, Justin A Giordano Esq, who is a professor of business and law and is an attorney as well as a singer/songwriter.
One of Justin’s areas of expertise is entertainment law and business. And now, here is this episode’s insight to share regarding the term magic of thought and how it might be used for achieving things like to grow your own audience.
Introducing this episode’s insight to share that is from Justin Giordano, and we quote:
The magic of thought when combined with willpower can move mountains.
